The style of our Tiny House can best be summed up by the phrase “modern yet rustic cabin”. Huge Norfolk Island pine trees tower over the stained cedar clad, pitch-roofed Tiny House. Fresh white vj walls inside contrast with dark stained timber and natural finishings. Warm mood lighting and soft cosy furnishings invite you to snuggle up beside a window and read a book.
The old recycled french doors fold all the way open to the deck, which brings in the northern-facing sunshine and is the perfect spot to watch the sunsets. Pop open the servery window in the kitchen when entertaining friends, as they sit on bar stools on the other side. Or if its a little chilly outside, head inside and change up the bay window seat into a 5 seater dining booth for a cosy dinner.
The Grounds
The Wild + Free Tiny House is located on our 3.5 acre property within the Brisbane City Council. The gardens are very well established with lots of mature trees, plants and grass.
We have a swimming pool and a dam on the property. The dam has seasonal lillipads, ducks and frogs, and next to it sits a kids sized Tiny House cubby called ‘Pirate Island’.
Enjoy a Cosy Campfire
We believe there is something really special about camp-fires, they inspire instant relaxation. Sit under the stars and enjoy a camp-fire in our private back paddock, as if you are hours from the city.
Back to Basics
Our whole property follows the philosophy our our Tiny House – we like to keep things as natural as possible. We are on a septic system, use solar and have minimal concrete or artificial additions to the property. That means things are a little bit rustic and bumpy, just as in nature! We enjoy the feeling of grass beneath our feet and lush green trees.
